The conceptual story of “Ifuure” is founded on the platform of every human’s right to live in peace. “Ifuure” means “Peace and Comfort” structured from the Ibibio language of South-Eastern Nigeria. It is an olfactive interpretation of deep emotions. “Ifuure” opens up a social conversation. It sets its backdrop on the deep emotions of a day etched in the modern history of Nigeria; October 20, 2020.

On its dawn rose a new nation of the young. A people with a heart destined to be the change they spoke so reverently. A day where neither age, creed nor religion was a subject of division, but rather a uniting force to speak only one language across ethnicities.  A day whose end bore its tears. A day whose memory is etched in the heart of every city corner of Lagos and whose victory echoes across the plains of Nigeria.

“Ifuure” honors the fallen heroes whose voices thundered and whose call became the people’s motivation.  “Ifuure”  commemorates our right to speak, and the people’s right to be heard. It establishes our right to the conversation and the voice to be understood. “Ifuure” is the story of the people’s heart for one fundamental human right; to right to PEACE & the COMFORT to live in it without fear or favor.
