In it we know some things, through it we know nothing nor what lies at the opening of its world’s end.
Ìrìn Àjò is a conceptual fragrance piece inspired by this olfactory artist’s interpretation of the 1938 first novel by Nigerian novelist D.O. Fagunwa originally written in Yoruba called Ògbójú Ode nínú igbó Irúmolè (translated as A Brave Hunter in the Forest of Strange Creatures).
Ìrìn Àjò invokes the bravery of humans as we embark on a journey to the unknown. From birth to beyond; Ìrìn Àjò is interpretative of our encounters with many elements of life; physical and transcendent. Through it all, we experience life from the lens of hope believing a ray of sunlight is cast over every dark shadow.
